Good morning.
I realize I have not fished my comments and responses to Women VS Men: difference in self-defense approach as I had promised. My life has been a whirlwind this entire summer between family issues, medical issues, a change in business and a move. I am still working on them but the research takes a while. I will finish more blog responses soon. Thanks for your patience
What most people think of as Self-defense, the physical skills, is what happens when everything else went bad. I’d much rather prevent things from ever reaching that stage. I want to help you develop a lifestyle that offers you maximum self protection. It’s all about giving you assurance. Size, age and physical limitations should not be an issue in learning to protect yourself. Classes and Boot Camps available

Super sneaky
Just in case you do not know me well enough… I have a 2 year
old grandson who I just adore. He is awesome!
He loves playing pillow fight. Of course being so much bigger than me,
it’s not even a contest. I can trounce him pretty good… and I do… just because
it’s fun.
We were playing this game on the deck yesterday and the
little tike is learning quickly. After being mauled by my dangerous pillow, he
got off the floor… distracted me by making a big show out of leaving and then sneaking
back quietly just to whack me on the back of the head with his pillow. He did
achieve his goal… got me off balance and tipped me over. He of course then proceeded to jump on top of
me with all the power he could muster. No fear, no holding back, no compassion.
Moral of the story? If you need to fight out of your weight
class, never underestimate the power of surprise, violence of action,
persistence, ferocity and sneakiness. They are your best tools, heck they are
most likely your only tools.
