Use of pain


THREE LEGITIMATE USE FOR PAIN IN SELF DEFENSE

1. Use pain as a negotiating tool..... "Stop and the pain will stop"....The "threat" must be able to understand your verbal command.

2. To trigger a predictable flinch response. You can use this response to your advantage since you know what's coming. IE: a punch in the solar plexus will make someone fold over. They are then in a perfect position for a knee strike to the face

3. To stop the threat from thinking. A sudden sharp pain can blot out the conscious mind.

In self defense pain is ALWAYS an extra, it's never the primary goal.
And remember, some people can focus through pain, especially someone who is drugged, drunk or deranged

The dangers of overconfidence

Never let your guards down unless you have made your surrounding safe. If you are going to sit in the middle of the "wilderness".... you better ALWAYS stay on your guards!!!

Wilderness = any areas where bad things can happen
